Help- cleaning dolls?

I recently got a large lot of dolls and clothes and need help cleaning them. I bought the woolite and the downy free.

Do I take the stuffing of of the dolls before I wash them?


How many dolls can I wash at once?

How do get those shiny spots off the face?

I have one doll with silver eye- how do I go about sending her back? Do they send a new doll or the same one with the eye fixed?

What size wigs do the BB wear? I have one with a bad plastic hair day and was thinking of trying wigging.

The Magic Eraser works great for the vinyl- Joy's restoration album is really helpful with all the directions you'll need. Do a search- it pops up every now and then in threads.

As for silver eye- I think it just depends on the doll. I've heard Addy can't have just the eye replaced, but I know Kirsten can because one of mine had that done. I think they typically just replace the eye or head and not the entire doll.
